Skiing and Snowboarding Areas
With a wide choice of runs comes variety, and beginners will be treated to some easy wide-open slopes to build their skills and confidence. There are also a number of green runs nearer the resort providing a platform for new beginners to progress during the week.
The linked resorts of Vaujany, Oz-en-Oisans, Villard Reculas and Auris boost the quantity and quality of intermediate and advanced-grade slopes. Expect pine-lined runs in Vaujany and Auris, where 50 km of intermediate to advanced runs await the more confident skier.
The resort is also very well known for free skiing, drawing many steep skiing enthusiasts to its high-altitude terrain and glacier. However, with 963 snow cannons and mainly south-facing slopes, there will be little need to venture off-piste as coverage means you’re virtually guaranteed good ski conditions throughout the season.
Snowboarders will also be delighted with the two snow parks and an immense variety of free-riding terrain available. Offering a range of jumps, boxes and edges, even the most freestyle of boarders will be happy with the choice available to fine-tune their tricks.
